چکیده
A two-sublattice ferrimagnet undergoes a transition from collinear to the canted magnetic phase at field oriented along an easy magnetization direction. In this work, we study by means of magneto-optical Faraday effect in thin film compensated iron garnet (Lu 3− x Bi )(Fe 5− y−z Ga y Al z )O 12 grown on Gd 3 5 O substrate. immediate vicinity compensation temperature, precursor with complex shape was observed. Using special sample variable thickness, demonstrate interfacial origin precursor. Diffusion gadolinium substrate into forms intermixed layer enhanced magnetization. It induces extended inhomogeneous structure film. two-step appears due easy-plane anisotropy layer. We emphasize that effective width distribution grows enormously while approaching temperature.

Epitaxial Magnetic Garnet Heterostructures
A summary of our recent progress in the growth and characterization of magnetic and magnetooptic garnet heterostructures is presented in this paper. The similarity in crystal chemistry and lattice parameters among the various garnets (yttrium iron garnet, bismuth iron garnet, etc.) is utilized to create artificially layered heterostructures and superlattices. Rare earth (especially Eu) substitu...
متن کاملSynthesis of Iron Yttrium Garnet Nanoparticles by Reverse Microemulsion Method
Colloidal nanodispersion of Iron Yttrium Garnet has been preparedbymixing the two ternary mixture of Triton X-100 (surfactant), n-heptane and aqueous solution that differing only in the aqueous phase.Ethanolwas added as cosurfactant and mixed them by ultrasound bath. By mixing these twomicroemulsions, Iron Yttrium garnet (Y3 Fe5 O12) nanodispersionwas obtained. Solids were settled by centrifuge...

Magnetic control of Goos-Hänchen shifts in a yttrium-iron-garnet film
We investigate the Goos-Hänchen (GH) shifts reflected and transmitted by a yttrium-iron-garnet (YIG) film for both normal and oblique incidence. It is found that the nonreciprocity effect of the MO material does not only result in a nonvanishing reflected shift at normal incidence, but also leads to a slab-thickness-independent term which breaks the symmetry between the reflected and transmitte...
